Our guest today is Ryan McGavin (@WryRyeRy), co-founder of Akita DAO.

StealthEX: The time has come and the Akita DAO AMA is about to begin, so get ready! Ryan will join us to discuss upcoming plans and answer any questions you may have. Ready to start?

Ryan: I'm very happy to be here, thanks to StealthEX for the hospitality! I will be happy to answer questions from those present here.

Q1: How do you get more crypto authority in this project? What are the cool features that will interest even those who don't believe in blockchain?

Ryan: Great starting point. With the current team working in the AKITA community since around March 2021, we have built relationships with many influencers and were able to use them to finally launch the HACHI business. This is a group of "OG" influencers with large networks of memecoin traders so they can bring attention to the project, but these traders don't always read DYOR/DD white papers. A lot of work is needed to integrate these new people into our community.

My personal opinion is that influencers go a long way in building a long-term, sustainable community. I believe we need to continue to develop these influential relationships with strong and active communities using Akita DAO in new products and use cases for HACHI and AKITA (i.e. stakes, grants, rewards, etc).

We have a strong community that has created its own social networks on the web3, including CryptoTwitter and DeSo. Artists and graphic designers in the community have contributed to almost every artwork you see today, and many have suggested introducing Akita DAO as a future program that helps creators by offering grants or other incentives. Other members have relationships with CEX, DEX, and other crypto services, and that's the beauty of The DAO: if we all work together, the sum of our abilities will be far greater than we could achieve with a centralized and compartmentalized structure.

In this AKITA ecosystem that we are working on, Akita DAO will develop products that add value to AKITA holders, and HACHI holders will contribute to this development. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the future of web3 to log in NOW and start contributing, including voting.

Question 2: Partnership is always an important factor for any project. And who is your partner? What benefits do you derive from these relationships?

Ryan: That's a fantastic question. First of all, I would say that Akita DAO does not have a specific partner, but is committed to collaborating with its community first. We believe in cooperation and we see association with different projects. We also believe in strong partnerships and to be honest they are hard to come by in the web3 and crypto space. Many organizations have not only failed to survive this bear market period, but many of them are not legitimate businesses. It's incredibly easy for some companies to claim their skills, but many misrepresent or ignore the skills, workload, and strategy needed to create something of value.

So, while we remain open to anyone who would like to propose a partnership, our community is focused on discussing who they work with, who they admire and who they TRUST. A lot of people at Akita DAO are very interested in gaming and it's a huge market with incredible potential for using blockchain. We are continuing discussions with a major mobile game studio to find a way to accommodate their plans, and we are also in talks with other GameFi/web3 game organizations.

At the same time, we continue to negotiate with platforms like StealhEX (no more dominance battles!) to find new ways to engage with the broader crypto community. Additional discussions are ongoing with major DeFi protocols and Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchains to ensure Akita DAO is known to these large institutions and any opportunities can benefit the DAO and its treasury.

Question 3: One of the factors that makes a platform attractive to many users is its functionality. What is AKITA's most unique attribute that will help differentiate your project from other growing social media platforms?

Ryan: Well, sure, it's hard. Our site, however, is undergoing a major update. I want to encourage people to take to Twitter to find out more about what we do and also our TG channel.

Personally, I think our greatest strength is that we have guaranteed cash flow that will get us through the first quarter of 2027. Most organizations don't have funding other than token launches, which poses challenges. long-term sustainability issues. With AKITA's story, our team didn't even get that seed funding, so it was an amazing opportunity to negotiate with DAO, the open-source software developer known as Gitcoin, to create this funding flow.

I also want to clarify that the AKITA token was launched with the idea of ​​decentralized social networks, but at the end of 2021 it became clear that this company was not only a large resource-intensive company, but also people inside. a community that no longer exists or contributes to it. Now watch the rise of the Coinbase-backed DeSo blockchain network or the Ethereum/L2-backed Lens protocol – these organizations should lead the way and what they are doing now is very interesting and promising. those interested in decentralized social networks.

I would say that in 2021/2022, one of our main characteristics is that "AKITA Network is a team of well-known and doxed personalities". and that would mean a lot. However, since many projects with public figures failed in 2022, I don't think most investors are interested in it. They want to see people think long-term, sustainably, and the project community play a strong and important role in its success.

Q4: Speaking of adoption, what strategies have you used to bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3 ecosystems?

Ryan: Another good question! Naturally, many of us are moving away from the web2 world, so we are actively bridging that gap by continuing to be active, bearish or bullish, and devoting all of our time to building Akita DAO. While web3 is strongly community driven, it often lacks the organizational structure and strategy that web2 has built over the years. I've always thought that was Web3's biggest weakness, which is why we see big Web2 companies enter the market during bear market cycles when existing Web3 companies fail. It must be a hybrid that makes us a real Web3 identity.

A little about me: I have a background in live music (mainly classical music) and also worked at Amazon for many years. There is definitely a time when the web2 world needs what web3 has to offer, and that's why I remain committed to this space.

So with all the challenges of *succeeding*, it was important to get funding, create a plan to build Akita DAO, and then launch it so it could grow organically, but also grow with the leadership. . This leadership or management is very important! As we continue to develop the AKITA and HACHI tokens, there will be dApps and services that use these tokens and/or provide other benefits to the holder community. This will all be done through Akita DAO's governance process, and we invite everyone to submit proposals and participate in the vote once the final procedures are complete.

Question 5: Why should we trust you and follow you and the AKITA project for the long term? How to overcome the awareness and doubts of investors/partners/customers?

Ryan: My first answer, a bit cheeky but honest at the same time: don't believe 100% everything they tell you in the chat! Security and trust are important to us and we always support them. DYOR, DD, not keys, coins, etc.

However, the blockchain space needs to be trusted and collectively we believe we need to work on it. Transparency in communication is one of the key aspects to building trust.

Akita DAO was formed after long talks on Telegram for months and now years. February 1st was our second anniversary!

Therefore, we must move forward to build trust. Securing the funding, creating a SECURE multi-signature wallet to serve as treasury, and then launching HACHI as a governance token is what we promised to do, and now that we have done it, we need to keep moving forward.

Once our suggestion/voting system is online, HACHI owners will be able to exercise their power and have their say in discussions on the evolution of the AKITA ecosystem in the years to come. What are people looking for in value? The value lies not only in the current value of the token, but also in something else: why will it continue to exist in the future? What is it for, why do people want HODL, what attracts new users to expand our network?

Working with established institutions and accredited institutions also builds trust in our community.

Gitcoin is one of the most influential Ethereum developer communities. Avalanche is a blockchain network with incredible potential that recently partnered with Amazon Web Services. We will continue to use these opportunities that we create with other trusted organizations.

And finally, I want to clarify that this is a project created by investors for investors. Until funding became available for our DAO, it was entirely self-funded. Most of us have day jobs, families and lives to take care of. Our collective efforts are what will lead us all together to succeed in the future.

Q6: What are Akita DAO's plans and vision for the future, and how is it striving to stay relevant and competitive in the changing blockchain and decentralized finance landscape?

Ryan: First answer: listen to the community! We hope that all Akita DAO members will also look at the rest of the web3 ecosystem and strategize how other tools, dApps or protocols can benefit HACHI holders in an effort to benefit AKITA.

We plan to develop the flagship product that the community has always been waiting for. But it has to be sustainable: no crazy 100,000% returns or other fake hype to ruin projects. It should also be secure and developed by trusted and experienced developers.

We currently have cash in Avalanche that needs to be used. The DAO already has its own GameFi, DeFi, etc. It was discussed if it was worth it, but it should come from a collective decision. For those who wish to make this choice, the HACHI retainer comes into play. HACHI holders retain both the Akita DAO brand and sound.

HACHI is on Ethereum - the mainnet is not necessarily the best place to develop it, but working with developers and other layer 2 focused projects like Arbitrum or Optimism is where we will grow, be competitive and remain versatile in the market as we evolve. conditions and the continuous development of technologies.

The game studio I mentioned above, if it works, can guarantee that it's not layer 1 of the core network - it's targeting layer 2 like IMX or other gaming protocols/ NFT.

So, again, we share our thoughts with our community: what worries us, what promises, what has succeeded, etc. I'm biased and have my own beliefs and interests, but that doesn't mean Akita DAO shares those beliefs and interests.

Question 7: How is the HACHI token connected to the AKITA network and what makes it unique as a government currency?

Ryan: Anyone who asks, perfect question!

Therefore, HACHI is primarily a sign of control. Owning HACHI gives you control over how Akita DAO uses its treasure. Again, our current Gitcoin funding is through the Hourglass funding stream, which will continue through Q1 2027. Few other DAOs have such a long time horizon.

For the uninitiated, Hourglass is a very secure token transmission service where we buy a fixed amount of AKITA tokens every day. This is the initial base of our funding, and then we need to use this funding to create more projects and revenue streams.

With this funding, we were able to build our cash and create the initial liquidity to launch HACHI on Uniswap. We also had operating expenses such as paying developers, building marketing funds, and recognizing those who have shown leadership in our community.

We are all here for 2022, now we know what it is! So while we may need to cut some costs, many of these executives consider HACHI to have ample cash, secure ownership, etc. They had to give up taxes to make it work.

So where am I going with all this? The Akita DAO Treasure is growing, it was used to power HACHI and will now continue to grow without HACHI. But now we have HACHI, which gives us a way to get the community to appreciate Akita DAO and its development of the AKITA ecosystem.

Every HACHI exchange fee for DEX trading on Uniswap now goes to Akita DAO's treasury.

Each new revenue stream developed by the Akita DAO means further growth of the Akita ecosystem and less reliance on our primary source of funding, Gitcoin.

The more Akita DAO can continue to hold and accumulate AKITA in its treasury, the more HACHI can be used to build an ecosystem, meaning more revenue streams will further expand our HACHI treasury holdings.

Ryan: Great question and very close to our hearts. there are amazing artists in our community and NFT technology is the key to the evolution of digital intellectual property, be it art, logistics, finance, etc.
